Match Preview

Aldershot manager Kevin Dillon is hoping to have defenders Andy Sandell and Ben Herd back for the play-off semi-final first leg against Rotherham.

Left-back Sandell missed the defeat at Morecambe last weekend with a groin injury but is expected to return while player of the year Herd could make a long-awaited comeback at right-back.

Herd has been out since injuring his ankle last month but is back in training and hoping to play.

Midfielder Oliver Bozanic has returned to Reading at the end of his loan spell while former Shrewsbury striker Omar Riza is ruled out with injury.

Fellow forward Damian Spencer is struggling to be fit after not fully recovering from the aftermath of a heavy tackle from Morecambe's Jim Bentley in injury time of last weekend's final league match of the season.

Rotherham's leading scorer Adam Le Fondre is set to be recalled to the starting line-up.

The striker, who has scored 25 league goals this term, was rested as the Millers ended the regular season with a shock 3-0 defeat at Hereford.

On-loan Middlesbrough midfielder Josh Walker is also in contention for a starting berth having sat out the clash at Edgar Street.

Striker Tom Pope and defender Dale Tonge continue to struggle with foot problems, but manager Ronnie Moore has Ryan Taylor available after the forward returned from his loan spell at Exeter.
