Campbell bags treble

Ross Campbell netted a hat-trick as Forfar survived a late Albion fight back to win 4-2 at Station Park.

Campbell was on hand to head home Martyn Fotheringham's left-wing cross to put the Loons ahead in the 13th minute.

Their lead was doubled six minutes later as the Sky Blues midfielder latched on to Omar Kader's assist before applying a left-footed finish.

Campbell had been without a goal since May 2011, but his barren run was ended emphatically when he curled home his third of the afternoon after 55 minutes.

Christopher Templeman's drilled penalty then put Dick Campbell's men into cruise control following Anthony Stevenson's foul on Kader.

But Mark McGuigan's 71st-minute strike, and David Crawford's penalty 10 minutes later after he had been upended by Barry Sellars, took the gloss off the home side's victory.
