Albion's Darren Young able to call on himself against Stenhousemuir
Albion Rovers player-manager Darren Young has added himself to the squad that will face Stenhousemuir at Cliftonhill.
Young has overcome the illness bug that saw him miss out on last Saturday's 1-0 success at Stranraer. Goalkeeper Blair Lochhead also returns after an injury.
Young said: "We defended at a very high level last weekend and if we defend like that again then we have a great chance against Stenhousemuir. They will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing 5-0 defeat from Dunfermline so we will have to be on our guard.
"We have made a good start in the league and want that to continue. "
Stenhousemuir are without Ciaran Summers (knee), Allan Smith (hip) and Jon McShane (ankle).
They will look to move on from last weekend's 5-0 home defeat from Dunfermline.
Manager Brown Ferguson said: "We have to hold our hands up and say that Dunfermline were better than us but it was still disappointing at how the game went. There is a determination in the camp to make up for it and it would be terrific to do that in this game.
"Albion Rovers have made a very strong start to life in this league but a win would take us above them and into the top half of the table."
