Winters to start again

Bottom club Albion include former Scotland striker Robbie Winters as a trialist for the third and final time against Stenhousemuir as talks over a longer stay continue.

Striker Steven Howarth is out due to a hip injury, with manager Todd Lumsden vowing to freshen up his side after their 5-2 defeat against Ayr United at the weekend.

Lumsden said: "I will be making changes as Saturday was poor and we need a win to lift everyone. We have a decent record against Stenhousemuir at home and it would be great to add to that with a win.

"I have to ensure that the players do not make the same mistakes that were made on Saturday. If we can do that we have a platform to win."

Stenhousemuir manager Martyn Corrigan will check on goalkeeper Callum Reidford before naming his side.

The shot-stopper suffered a mild concussion in the 2-1 win over East Fife on Saturday.

Stewart Kean remains sidelined due to a calf problem and Greg Ross is a doubt due to illness, with Corrigan looking to drive his men towards a play-off place.

He said: "Two wins in our last three games have shown that we are gearing up for a charge on a play-off place.

"We will need to battle to keep that going as Albion will be fighting for everything as they are beginning to look isolated in the table and will be looking to hit back after a bad result at the weekend."
