Turnbull back from a ban for Rovers
Albion Rovers have Kyle Turnbull available again after suspension when managerless Forfar arrive at Cliftonhill.
Player/manager Darren Young will give Josh Mullin, John Gemmell and Andrew Barrowman the chance to shake off knocks before picking his side.
Young said: "We did well to win at Stenhousemuir last weekend and we will need a similar level of performance to get the three points in this game.
"Overall 2015 has been a terrific year for Albion Rovers as we won the League 2 title and made a great start to life following promotion.
"It would be terrific to end our home games for the year on a high with a win over Forfar."
Forfar will have first-team coach Stewart Petrie and Under-20 manager Barry Sellars in charge after the sacking of long-serving boss Dick Campbell following the 1-0 defeat to Cowdenbeath last weekend.
The duo are unable to call on Michael Dunlop due to a calf injury while Michael Travis is struggling with a knock and Derek Young is a major doubt due to illness.
The Loons are expected to announce their new manager by Monday, with Petrie one of the candidates in the running.
He said: "All I am thinking about at the moment is taking the team to Albion Rovers and doing well in that game."
