Donnelly return boosts Albion
Albion Rovers welcome back Ryan Donnelly to the squad that will face Elgin at Cliftonhill after he missed the Scottish Cup replay defeat to Rangers due to being cup-tied.
Chris Dallas will be missing with a knee injury with Alan Reid, Scott Chaplain, Mark McGuigan and Liam Cusack have all been rated as extremely doubtful by manager James Ward.
The Coatbridge boss said: "It is back to normality for us after a couple of intense weeks. Elgin are showing a lot of spirit and resilience under Barry Wilson but I want us to return to normality with a win.
"We need a win to get back into the promotion chase."
Elgin hope to have Mark Nicolson available after a hamstring injury however manager Wilson's injury worries continue to cause him headaches.
His side will again be without the injured David Niven (toe), Paul McMullan (ankle), Jamie Masson (knee), Brian Cameron (foot) and Paul Millar (foot) while strikers Craig Gunn and Shane Sutherland are both rated as extremely doubtful.
Wilson said: "The only luck we are having just now is bad luck but that can happen when you are struggling. It will be a tough task to win at Albion Rovers but we will stick to it.
"The players are also playing for the places that are available in our squad for next season."
