McGuigan worry for Albion

Albion Rovers have a doubt over striker Mark McGuigan as they look to move to the top of League Two with a win over visitors East Fife.

McGuigan has a hamstring injury while player-manager Darren Young remains out after groin surgery.

Kyle Turnbull is absent with an arm injury as the Coatbridge side look to bounce back from Saturday's 2-0 defeat from Elgin.

Young said: "Things went against us at key times at the weekend so we have to accept the defeat and move on.

"The last time we lost we responded with a run of six wins and a draw and hopefully we will do the same this time."

East Fife welcome back Fraser Mullen from a ban and have Dundee United striker Ola Adeyemo set for his debut.

Adeyemo's loan deal was agreed just before the transfer window closed, however Caolan McAleer is an injury doubt.

Player-manager Gary Naysmith is looking forward to kick-off.

He said: "The players showed a lot of grit and determination to hit back and get an equaliser in our last game at Arbroath.

"We will need that same level of determination to get anything from this game.

"A win would lift us a few places in the table and hopefully start off a push towards a play-off place."
