Suspensions rock Rovers' hopes

Albion will be without suspended pair Kevin Green and Peter Innes for the visit of an East Fife side who sit closest to them in the table.

Bottom-of-the-table Albion are still without Mick O'Byrne (ankle) and Tony Stevenson, who has a knee problem, leaving manager Todd Lumsden to rally his troops.

Lumsden said: "This is a massive game for us and we have to repeat the fine form that we showed when we beat Stenhousemuir in our last home game.

"We have shown high quality at times this season and this would be a terrific game to do it in again.

"If we can get the three points the gap between us and East Fife goes down to six and becomes a lot easier to close."

East Fife will be without both Stevie Campbell and Gareth Wardlaw as the Fifers look to send hosts Albion closer to the drop.

Campbell remains sidelined with an ankle problem and Wardlaw is struggling with illness.

New Bayview manager Billy Brown said: "Despite not winning in our last eight games I have to be fair to the lads and say that they've carried absolutely no luck.

"If we had got a break against Arbroath last week we would have beaten them 1-0 as opposed to the other way around.

"There is so little between the teams in this league, with the exception of Queen of the South, that quite often a piece of luck can swing games.

"Hopefully we can get that break against Albion and get the win that will lift our season."
