Suspended John Gemmell replaced by Callum McRobbie in Airdrie squad
Albion Rovers will be without John Gemmell for their Ladbrokes League One clash with Cowdenbeath.
The striker was sent off just minutes after coming on as a substitute in the 1-1 draw at Airdrie last weekend and is therefore suspended, with the fit again Callum McRobbie added as his replacement.
Albion player/manager Darren Young said: "Cowdenbeath did well to hold a Dunfermline side that have been free scoring to a goalless draw last weekend. They will come here and look to build on that so we need to be ready for a tough game.
"We were defensively good against Airdrie but our performance going forward was not as high as it should have been. We need to pass the ball better and if we do that then we can win this game."
Cowdenbeath's new signing Fraser Kerr cannot play as he has to serve a suspension placed on him by the SFA for his part in the clash of players at the end of last season's play-off game between his former club Motherwell and Rangers.
Robbie Buchanan has returned to Hearts after a loan spell with the injured Jack Beaumont (foot) and Lewis Milne (knee) continuing to sit on the sidelines.
Player/manager Colin Nish said: "What was most pleasing about our draw with Dunfermline was that we were the better side for good periods of the game.
"We have put together a string of good performances recently and want that to continue."
