Reid out for Rovers

Albion Rovers full-back Alan Reid is the only absentee against visitors Clyde as he completes a two game ban.

Striker John Gemmell is pushing for a starting place after overcoming a rib injury.

Player-manager Darren Young said: "Clyde will be coming here on a high after a good win at East Fife last weekend.

"It has been three weeks since we played in the league and that was a disappointing afternoon as we lost to East Stirling so it has been a frustrating period.

"We now have the chance to make up for that defeat but it will not be easy as Clyde are a decent side."

The visitors have an injury doubt over on-loan Rangers defender Craig Halkett as well as player-manager Barry Ferguson who has a knee problem.

Ferguson's side had to dig deep for their success at Bayview last weekend and the manager is predicting that they will need to do the same to take anything from the Rovers.

Ferguson said: "We are a new side but we are beginning to gel in a very unpredictable league.

"We also showed last week that we can win a game without playing at our best by working extremely hard.

"We will need another hard working performance to get a win over Albion Rovers."
