Dunlop boost for Rovers

Champions Albion Rovers welcome back Mick Dunlop from a ban as they host Arbroath prior to being presented with their League 2 silverware.

Alan Reid (knee) is unavailable to player/manager Darren Young, who is determined that the party does not fall flat.

He said: "It is a special day for the club and after finally getting over that winning hurdle we do not want to spoil things by not playing well. Arbroath have still to cement themselves into third place and they will be looking to do that at our expense.

"We do not want to finish our home games on a low so we will be looking to win."

Red Lichties striker Simon Murray picked up a knock in last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Queen's Park but he is expected to be available as interim manager Todd Lumsden takes the side for the second week running.

Missing for the Gayfield men are Jonathan Lindsay (ankle), Adam Hunter (ankle) and Paul McManus (knee). However, Jordan Lowdon and Dylan Carreiro are both expected to return to the starting line up after injury.

Lumsden said: "We secured our place in the play-offs last weekend and we are now looking to make sure we finish third. Albion Rovers are worthy champions but we can go there and spoil their party by getting a win."
