Five-star Rovers

Albion romped to a comfortable win 5-2 over Elgin.

The scoring began after just four minutes when Ciaran Donnelly struck a sweet right-foot volley into the bottom corner after good work by Gary Phillips.

Phillips was again the provider eight minutes later, as he set up Liam Cusack to curl into the far corner.

Phillips got on the scoresheet himself just before half-time when he finished from inside the six-yard box to cap a magnificent first-half display.

Dennis Wyness pulled one back two minutes after the break but top scorer Scott Chaplain stepped up after a Stewart Black fouled Cusack inside the area to restore the three-goal lead.

Shane Sutherland pulled another back for Elgin but Chaplain's eighth of the season sealed the win.
