Andy Barrowman brace boosts Albion beyond Stenhousemuir

Andy Barrowman netted twice for Albion as they beat 10-man Stenhousemuir 2-0 in Ladbrokes League One.

Albion took the lead after 30 minutes when Joshua Mullin's pinpoint cross found forward Barrowman, who headed home his second goal of the campaign.

Rovers' advantage was doubled after 56 minutes as Barrowman struck again when he got onto the end of Gary Fisher's deep cross to head past Jamie Barclay.

Barclay made a terrific save to prevent Albion from increasing their advantage, as he reacted excellently to get a hand to Alistair Love's effort.

Colin McMenamin had an eventful few minutes in the second half, as he came close to pulling one back for Brown Ferguson's side, with stopper Ross Stewart saving well, before he was dismissed after kicking out at Ross Dunlop.

Kieran Millar nearly pulled one back for the Warriors, but Darren Young's side saw out the win and the clean sheet.
