Annan strengthen grip
Annan moved in touching distance of securing their play-off spot with a 2-0 win over Albion Rovers at Cliftonhill.
Josh Todd headed Annan into the lead after 35 minutes, rising to meet Andrew Mitchell's corner with a glancing nod into the top-right corner.
Kenneth Mackay doubled the visitors' advantage after 53 minutes, poking home Blair Henderson's knock down from Mitchell's corner.
Mitchell almost added a third for the Black & Golds, with a long range effort that Albion keeper Neil Parry spilled out to Mackay, but the striker was flagged for offside.
Annan will secure a play-off spot with five games remaining if they beat fourth placed Stirling on Saturday.
