No problems for Shaymen

Halifax manager Neil Aspin has no new injury worries ahead of the local derby against Bradford in the FA Cup.

Aspin's men have influential skipper Marc Roberts fully fit after he came through the goalless draw with Wrexham on Tuesday night.

James Bolton is pushing for a starting place after sitting on the bench following a thigh problem, while former Bantams duo Matt Glennon and Simon Ainge will be hoping to make a big impression against their former side.

Aspin said ahead of the game: "I expect a difficult game, but at some stage we have to try and score, so we can't just sit back. We'll have to try and put Bradford under pressure if we can."

Bradford defender Rory McArdle will return to contention after sitting out last week's home defeat to Doncaster due to a one-game ban, but striker James Hanson will miss out due to a thigh injury.

Boss Phil Parkinson must decide whether to recall centre-back McArdle to his starting line-up, while Hanson has been struggling with a thigh problem for several weeks.

Striker Aaron Mclean has not featured in the last three games and is not expected to return as he considers a loan move away from the club and fellow forward Jon Stead is expected to be cup-tied so Billy Clarke could return to the side.

The two West Yorkshire rivals last met in a competitive fixture 16 years ago when Bradford triumphed in a League Cup tie.
