Andy Ryan a doubt for Airdrie

Airdrie striker Andy Ryan returns from suspension but he could miss out against Livingston after picking up a knock in training.

Fellow front-man Iain Russell is also an injury doubt, however international clearance has been received for defender Daniel Boateng.

Head coach Kevin McBride said: "Livingston enjoyed a great 5-1 win over Stranraer last weekend and they are a side that will push for promotion. However, we are going into the game with increased confidence after winning at Queen's Park last weekend.

"It will be tough to get the three points but we have home advantage and want to make it count."

Livingston defender Craig Halkett is available again after a ban.

Lewis Allan will also be included in the squad after a loan deal was agreed with Hibernian but Dale Carrick continues to be out due to a hand injury.

Manager David Hopkin said: "It would be terrific to get the better Airdrie as this is a big game very early in the season. Airdrie are a side that I expect to be challenging for the title but thankfully we are going into it on a high after a great performance and result against Stranraer.

"Airdrie will have increased confidence after beating Queen's Park so it will be tough."
