Dods faces unusual selection problem for Brechin trip to Airdrie
Airdrie will be without the suspended David Cox for the visit of Brechin.
The striker was sent off after the final whistle when the Diamonds lost 1-0 to Stranraer in their last game, while Jim Lister continues to be out with a groin problem.
Manager Gary Bollan said: "In the Stranraer game we missed a lot of chances, including a penalty, and paid the price.
"We need to ensure that we turn chances into goals against a Brechin side who are in form after picking up seven points from the last nine, if we are to stay in the top four."
Brechin player/ manager Darren Dods has a squad free from injury and suspension as he looks to continue the club's push away from the foot of the table.
Indeed, Dods' only concern is whether to keep picking himself.
He explained: "I had planned to concentrate more on a touchline role several weeks ago, but injuries forced me back into the team.
"We then managed to get some points on board and with everyone available I now need to decide whether I should go back to my original plan. Airdrie are a tough side who do not lose many goals as they are so well organised."
