Three and easy for Airdrie
Airdrie continued to boost their survival hopes with a 3-0 victory over nine-man Ayr United.
The hosts opened the scoring on the half-hour mark through Craig Barr, who fired into the bottom corner.
The visitors were reduced to 10n men three minutes before half-time, Adam Hunter dismissed for serious foul play, before their cause worsened when they fell 2-0 behind in the 69th minute.
Liam Watt found the bottom corner and, after Kyle McAusland was dismissed for a foul in the penalty area 15 minutes from time, Keigan Parker slotted home from the spot to extend his side's unbeaten run to seven matches.
