Livingston continue fine form with four goals at Airdrie

Livingston continued their storming start to the season with a 4-2 win at Airdrie.

Daniel Mullen opened the scoring for them on the rebound, after Rohan Ferguson had kept out Scott Pitman's shot.

Alan Lithgow's long throw was then flicked on by Sean Crighton for Liam Buchanan to make it two.

Andy Ryan pulled one back for the Diamonds, bullying his way past opponent Craig Halkett and beating the keeper left-footed.

But an own goal by Daniel Boateng restored the two-goal cushion, the defender deflecting in Shaun Byrne's cross.

Boateng redeemed himself, flicking on an Adam Brown ball for Ryan to claim his second.

However Joshua Mullin was set up by Mullen late on to clinch Livingston's win.
