McKeown strike denies Diamonds
Bottom club Airdrie followed up last week's impressive win over Scottish League One leaders Dunfermline with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Stranraer at New Broomfield.
The visitors almost took an early lead but Martin Grehan saw his effort from the edge of the area come back off the bar.
Despite dominating the early exchanges, the Blues found themselves a goal down when Caolan McAleer and Keigan Parker combined on the counter before teeing up Jim Lister to poke home for an unlikely Airdrie lead.
Stranraer continued to dominate and eventually made the breakthrough with 20 minutes left to play when Frank McKeown's downward header beat Grant Adam after Mark Docherty picked him out.
Despite some late pressure, the league's third-placed team had to settle for a point.
