    Rhoys happy to help Cherries

    06 Feb 2009 - 11:12:20

Crystal Palace defender Rhoys Wiggins has agreed to stay with Bournemouth until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old Welshman made four appearances during his first month on loan with the Cherries and is now looking forward to helping Eddie Howe's side in their battle to avoid the drop in the last three months of the season.

"I've certainly enjoyed my first few games here," Wiggins told the Bournemouth Echo. "We've played well and I think we've deserved more from them. We could have had four wins from four.

"Overall, we've looked strong and organised as a team. In a way, it's good for me to be involved in the situation we're in because it's going to give me good experience.

"I want to play my part and help us come through. It would be a great feeling, not just for me but for the team as well."
