Bournemouth are reportedly set to lose their manager Sean O'Driscoll, who is being tipped to become the new boss of League One rivals Doncaster Rovers.
The Yorkshire side are on the lookout for a new manager after parting company with Dave Penney by 'mutual consent' last week and had initially been linked with a move for Kevin Keegan.
However, that appears to have gone cold and the club have revealed they are to interview the three candidates on their short-list in the near future.
Despite no mention of O'Driscoll, the Doncaster Free Press has revealed that the 49-year-old has already been interviewed and accepted the position at Belle Vue and will take over once compensation is agreed with the Cherries.
The news comes as 34-year-old midfielder Darren Anderton is all set to link up with the Cherries on a free contract.
