Huddersfield Town Reaction - Terriers
Here's the post match reaction from the Terriers camp after their first home League defeat since Boxing Day 2010.
Town manager, Lee Clark, was quoted after the match at the Galpharm as saying: "Bournemouth were very good today. They passed the ball like I wanted my team to; they were composed on the ball and created good chances. I am lost for words at the moment as to why we can't do what they did. We had one shot on target in 97 minutes, which is not good enough. Today's performance is probably the worst during my tenure here. We have let the supporters down today; at least at Charlton we battled during the second half. We were lucky to only be one down at half time; in the second half there was no energy, no tempo, no intensity; it just wasn't a Huddersfield Town performance. I said to the players at half time that I want them to be positive, rather than go backwards, try and take a shot or cross - what is the worst thing that could happen? My players shouldn't be playing with fear - they should be full of confidence. They were third before the game and had a chance of breaking into the top two if results went their way. I can't understand why there would be a fear factor - today has left a bad taste in my mouth".
