Howe Wants McQuoid To Make The Grade

Manager Eddie Howe wants Josh McQuoid to step up to the challenge of League One football. Josh McQuoid is to be offered a new contract to remain at Dean Court. Manager Eddie Howe is quoted as saying in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I think Josh improved as the season progressed. He worked very hard to improve his game and to try to develop some consistency to his performances. He showed a good attitude throughout the year and next season will be determined largely by how he comes back and performs during pre-season. Like with all young players, you want them to come back for pre-season and try to stake a claim for a first-team place. Josh was in the frame all season and made a lot of appearances from the bench. The next target for him is to try to be a regular starter".
