Howe Preparing For Tough Encounter
Manager Eddie Howe is under no illusion as to the task ahead with Bolton Wanderers coming to Dean Court on Saturday.
With Bolton Wanderers coming to Dean Court for the first time in over 20 years, manager Eddie Howe is under no illusion as to the task ahead as the Clubs prepare to face each other.
Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Howe is quoted as saying: "With the players and manager they have got and the infrastructure of the club, I think they are in a false position. I think they will climb the table as the season progresses and I expect a really tough battle against a team that were many people’s pre-season favourites to go up or be in contention to go up. They have had a slow start but I think they will get stronger. They have good players and a strong squad. You only have to look at their bench to see the strength of their squad. I think it is a surprise to everybody to see where they are. I have watched a number of their games and they have perhaps been unfortunate not to get more points. They have been in most games and they have been tight affairs. They have a very proud history and tradition and have been a Premier League team for a number of years. They will be looking to make that jump back, as are a number of clubs we seem to be playing at the moment, so it will be another really good examination for us. It is great to be back at home. It seems a long time since our last home game and, if we can pick up where we left off against Millwall, we would be really happy".
