Howe grounded despite Cherries win

The Cherries moved into the top three in League Two after Liam Feeney's goal gave them a 1-0 home win over fellow early-season pacesetters Crewe. "The board have tried everything to get the embargo lifted but it's not going to happen at the moment," said Howe. "It's in the back of my mind that a few injuries could leave us short but at the moment there's a great spirit around the club and I don't think the players are affected by what's happening off the pitch." Feeney showed electrifying pace to outstrip Crewe skipper Billy Jones before rifling an angled shot past keeper Adam Legzdins five minutes into the second half to maintain Bournemouth's impressive start to the campaign. Howe added: "It was a great strike and that's the sort of thing he's capable of. He can handle the ball running at pace and no defender likes facing a forward with his turn of speed."
