Howe: Away form is a concern

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe was left to rue a poor first-half display from his side as they went down 2-0 at MK Dons. The Cherries picked up after the break and showed enough to have come away with a point, but instead they were left nursing another away defeat - meaning they have now won just one of 10 matches on their travels. That solitary victory came back in August, and Howe said: "Our away form is a concern. It was a disappointing day and the result is another disappointment, but there were positives and we have to take them out of the game."The improvement in the second half was marked, that can only be down to attitude and a shift in focus. The lads weren't happy with themselves at half-time - we hadn't performed, we'd sat back and MK Dons kept the ball really well."Obviously we're disappointed with the (early) goal we conceded so there's a number of things we were unhappy with. But as unhappy as we were first half, we were as pleased second half because we dominated the game and on another day we would have come away with something."We kept knocking on the door, had a number of chances and you just thought we were going to put one of those away but unfortunately we got done on the counter attack. We have got to be more clinical."
