Weymouth boss Garry Hill has moved quickly to distance himself from the vacant managerial position at League One neighbours Bournemouth.
The former Dagenham & Redbridge boss was linked with the Cherries after Sean O'Driscoll left to take the manager's job at League One rivals Doncaster Rovers.
However, after guiding the Terras to the Football Conference from the Conference South last season, Hill is committed to helping the club progress further this term.
He said: "I am told my name has been mentioned and I am flattered because I have never managed in the League before. But I am halfway through a three-year contract at Weymouth."
