Injury-plagued Bournemouth defender Ryan Garry is on the road to recovery after a miserable run of misfortune.
After sustaining a broken leg in a challenge with Northampton's Andy Kirk only seven games into the season, the former Arsenal man is coming along nicely.
"I'm trying to work something out to keep him here. We haven't seen the best of him yet and we would like to give him that opportunity," manager Kevin Bond told the Daily Echo.
Cherries physio Steve Hard added: "At this moment in time, Ryan is running and should be back in training in three weeks' time so we're looking at the latter part of January."
Garry, who signed in the summer, has had injury problems spanning four years and will be hoping to clinch a new contract when he gets back to full fitness.
