Fletcher up for Cherries fight

15 April 2009 03:56
Bournemouth striker Steve Fletcher has urged his side to give their all to ensure their Football League survival. The Cherries are just one point clear of the drop zone, with two of their three remaining games against fellow strugglers Grimsby Town and Chester City. Fletcher said: "Chester and Grimsby are our next two matches and, as they are the two sides down there with us, we've simply got to win. "The Brentford defeat was very hard to take as they only created about one chance and that won the match. "But to be fair to them they showed terrific resolve and repelled everything we threw at them. "Everything is in our own hands. I've played in the Conference before and I don't want to go back there again."
