Cherries takeover imminent - Baker

An end to the Cherries' long-running takeover saga now appears to be in sight, but the identity of the buyer remains a mystery. Baker says he is still unable to disclose that information due to a confidentiality agreement. He told the Echo: "We've transacted on a deal, a bid is in place. It will become public who it is in the fullness of time. "They've transacted on the full deal. The legals are to be completed but the deal, as far as I'm concerned, is now transacted and new owners will be announced in due course."
