    Cherries sign Spurs keeper

    17 Jan 2009 - 10:19:53

Bournemouth have signed highly-rated goalkeeper David Button from Tottenham Hotspur on loan.

The 19-year-old was part of the England side that reached the Under-19 European Championship finals and has first-team experience at Rochdale and Grays Athletic.

Button will be in the squad for Saturday's game with Rotherham United.

Meanwhile, Juan Jose Carricondo Perez, known as Juanjo, has been given another chance to impress at the club. The Spaniard is set to return to Dean Court for another trial after originally being rejected by the Cherries.

Bournemouth have already signed two players this week, bringing in youngsters Rhoys Wiggins and Jake Thomson.
