Former England international Darren Anderton has agreed to sign for Bournemouth until the end of the season. The 34-year-old has been without a club since being released by Wolves at the end of last season and played for Portsmouth, Tottenham and Birmingham City earlier in his career. Cherries chairman Abdul Jaffer told the club's official website: "We're delighted to have signed a player of Darren's calibre. "It shows how far this club has come that we've been able to sign such a player and it underlines the board's ambition for the club."
