Cherries in wage struggle

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has admitted that the club are still struggling to pay the players last month's wages in full, increasing speculation around the future of the club. Only 40 per cent of February's wages for the Cherries squad are reported to have been paid, although the potential of new owners has raised hopes that the situation will be quickly resolved. "I would like it sorted as soon as possible, because the longer it drags on the more potential problems arise," said Howe to BBC Radio Solent. "We all have bills to pay and we need to address the situation as soon as we can. "The players haven't had any definite answers as to when the situation will change so until then, this will remain the position."
