Cherries: Walk could raise around 6,000

ORGANISER Tracey Mulholland offered a personal vote of thanks to sponsors, walkers and the Cherries board following the club's Don't Walk Alone fundraiser. Around 150 walkers including directors Jeff Mostyn, Steve Sly and Adam Murry took part in the sun-baked stroll between Boscombe Pier and Hengistbury Head on Sunday. The event, which was also supported by the Cherries youth team, was the brainchild of lifelong Cherries follower Tracey and could bring in around £6,000 for the club. It was fantastic and we couldn't have asked for a better day, said Tracey. It went like clockwork. I would like to personally thank everybody who sponsored and took part. I would also like to thank Eddie Mitchell and the board for their help.
