Cherries: Jalal's faith in winning ways

SHWAN Jalal is itching for the opportunity to halt Cherries' bad run and insists there is no need to press the panic button. Jalal was left disappointed following Saturday's defeat at Aldershot not least because his sensational save late on looked to have earned Cherries a deserved point. Following a third consecutive loss for Eddie Howe's men, Jalal is desperate to help end the poor form and get back on track when Cherries visit Crewe today. The former Tottenham Hotspur trainee said: I think the sooner we nip it in the bud, the better. I don't think anybody is panicking yet. We know what we're capable of, Eddie knows, Jase knows and nobody's panicking yet. We just want Crewe to come around as quickly as possible so we can rectify it. Jalal thought Cherries were approaching their best form during the second half at Aldershot, where they applied plenty of pressure to the Shots, only to lose with three minutes remaining. The in-form stopper added: I felt our second-half performance merited something out of the game. But at the moment, the luck of the draw isn't going for us. I don't think we performed anywhere near what we're capable of in the first half and Eddie told us that at half-time. I'd say after we scored, if there was any team that was going to win it, it was going to be us. But football is cruel and we've just got to roll with the punches really. At the minute, we're going through a bit of a blip but other teams went through it at the start of the season or at Christmas. It's just our turn to have one and it's about how we react.
