Cherries: Bignall set for loan extension

CHERRIES are close to securing an extension to the loan deal of Nicholas Bignall. Reading, the striker's parent club, today reported that the frontman will remain at Dean Court until January 14. But Cherries have confirmed they are awaiting final approval from the Football League. Bignall started Saturday's League One clash against Hartlepool United and would bolster Eddie Howe's resources after hotshot Josh McQuoid joined Millwall last month.
