Brentford Reaction - Bees
Here's the post match reaction from the Brentford camp after their defeat on the south coast.
Brentford's Harry Forrester clearly wasn't playing in, or watching the same match as everyone else at Dean Court on Tuesday evening, being quoted after the match as saying: "We put a lot in to the second half. We spent most of the half in their half. We gave everything. We had belief we could get something. We sat off them a bit too much in the first half, maybe gave them too much respect. We tried to get in their faces, they had a player in the hole that gave us problem. When we went 4-4-2 in the second half with two big guys up front we were able to get on the ball more. They had a lot of possession in the first half without hurting us. It was all in front of us. I had a big chance, I thought I had scored, I don't really know what happened. Niall went close with the re-bound. We had them penned back for a long time, they defended well but couldn't get the goal. If we had got one I think we would have gone on to win. To go down to a strike like that, lose 1-0 away from home, after the way we played in the second half, is hard to take. I think we can consider ourselves unlucky. We are very disappointed to come away with nothing".
The reason Brentford went away with nothing is reflected in the number of shots the Bees had in total at Dean Court ...... just the 3, compared to the Cherries 18!
