Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond believes the great escape to avoid relegation is definitely on after Saturday's 2-1 win over Bristol Rovers.
The Cherries' hopes of avoiding relegation had looked over after they were placed into administration earlier this year and docked ten points.
However, their fifth win in six games moved the South Coast club to within six points of safety with three games remaining in the campaign.
"I never thought I would be here with three games to go expecting to have any chance of survival," admitted Bond.
"It has been a wonderful achievement getting this far with some terrific performances and excellent results.
"We still need everything to happen for us to survive but it can be done.
"It was real edge-of-the-seat stuff. We were hanging on for our lives but we managed to keep them out."
