Bournemouth boss Kevin Bond was gutted by his side's unfortunate 2-1 defeat at Yeovil Town on Tuesday.
The Cherries produced a valiant second-half display after trailing 2-0 at the break but Brett Pitman's penalty was their only success and they remain in the bottom four.
"I'm sick because the lads deserved to get something from the game and didn't," said Bond.
"It's absolutely no consolation to me going home thinking we did okay, because we got nothing from the game.
"I'm destroyed by it, absolutely gutted, but that's the way it is."
