Anderton keen on Cherries deal

Former England midfielder Darren Anderton has hinted that he could sign a pay-as-you-play deal with Bournemouth. The 34-year-old is without a club since being released by Wolves at the end of last season. "I love the area and it seems like a good club. Hopefully it will get the green light," Anderton told the Daily Echo. "I'm just waiting on chairman Abdul Jaffer and manager Sean O'Driscoll to come back to me. Bournemouth play good football, and I don't feel like I'm too big to play at that level."
