Dons mull over Meades availability

AFC Wimbledon will check on Jonathan Meades ahead of the visit of Plymouth.

The on-loan Bournemouth defender was struggling with an ankle injury prior to Saturday's trip to Dagenham and lasted just 52 minutes before having to come off.

With fellow full-backs Curtis Osano (calf) and Jim Fenlon (back) currently injured, centre-half Mat Mitchel-King filled in at right-back as the Dons ran out 1-0 winners.

Midfielder Peter Sweeney could miss out again with a toe injury while defender Will Antwi is recovering from a hip problem.

Teenage winger Kevin Sainte-Luce pressed his claims for a full debut with the Dons' winner at the weekend on his third appearance as a substitute.

Loan signings Brennan Dickenson and Jesse Darko will be involved again after making their respective debuts against the Daggers.

Goal-shy Plymouth will be boosted by the return of striker Nick Chadwick.

The Pilgrims have confirmed that the former Everton forward will return to the matchday squad after serving a six-game ban for a red card at Port Vale in early January.

Argyle have struggled to find the back of the net without Chadwick in recent weeks, scoring only twice in their last five games, and they are now two points adrift of safety following their 1-0 defeat at Northampton on Saturday.

Manager John Sheridan was only able to name six substitutes at Sixfields after Durrell Berry's knee injury saw him withdraw from the squad on Saturday, and it is unclear whether the right-back will return in place of Maxime Blanchard.

The clash with the Dons will be followed by the visit of fellow strugglers Barnet to Home Park in a crucial week for Argyle's survival prospects.
