Jake Reeves set to retain AFC Wimbledon place

Jake Reeves is set to keep his place for AFC Wimbledon when they host Notts County, after being singled out for praise by boss Neal Ardley.

After fighting back for a 1-1 draw at Yeovil, Ardley told Dons Player: "Everyone sees things differently, but I know what I want from him (Reeves) and I think he is a superb player. Jake was the catalyst of a lot of the good stuff that we did. I told him that afterwards."

Striker Lyle Taylor will not feature, as he serves the second of a three-match suspension, following his dismissal at Mansfield.

Adebayo Akinfenwa will be hoping his equaliser can be a catalyst for a goalscoring run of form, while forwards Ade Azeez and Sean Rigg will be hoping for starts, in Taylor's absence, after recent substitute appearances.

Notts County's injury list remains lengthy but the Magpies have no new problems.

Despite Ricardo Moniz being without as many as seven players, the Meadow Lane boss still has plenty of options at his disposal should he wish to make changes.

Liam Noble is pushing for a recall after his injury-time winner from the bench last weekend and he is joined by the fit-again Curtis Thompson, Julian Jenner and Jimmy Spencer.

Civard Sprockel, Blair Adams, Elliott Hewitt (hamstring), Rob Milsom (knee) and Kyle De Silva (thigh) join long-term absentees Taylor McKenzie and Ronan Murray in being unavailable to Moniz.
