AFC Wimbledon captain Alan Bennett will return from injury for the visit of Newport.
The centre-half has recovered from the thigh strain which kept him out of the last two matches.
Midfielder Sammy Moore is back after a two-match ban and defender Andy Frampton is available despite feeling a calf niggle during the 1-0 win at Southend last weekend.
Full-back Tom Richards is a doubt after missing training this week due to illness and winger Kevin Sainte-Luce is still sidelined by a knee injury.
Newport striker Aaron O'Connor is set to make a long-awaited return to the visitors' squad.
The 30-year-old has been sidelined since his play-off final goal against Wrexham back in May due to a groin injury but he has trained all week and is expected to be involved, most likely on the bench, against the Dons.
Fellow forward Danny Crow misses out with a back problem while Jamie Stephens, Ismail Yakubu and Byron Anthony are all out for the season.
Adam Chapman also returns having served his three-match ban for a red card against Portsmouth but might have to make do with a place on the Exiles' bench.
