Jones set for Dons bow

Darren Jones is poised to make his debut for AFC Wimbledon when they host Exeter.

Defender Jones signed for the Dons after leaving Shrewsbury earlier this week and is set to replace Andy Frampton, who is facing a spell on the sidelines after dislocating his shoulder at Scunthorpe last weekend.

Boss Neal Ardley is also without midfielder Peter Sweeney for the next month or so after he broke a bone in his foot in training.

And full-back Jim Fenlon completes a three-match ban for his red card against Wycombe three weeks ago.

Matt Gill is set to make his return from injury for Exeter.

The former Bristol Rovers midfielder, who signed a deal with the Grecians earlier this month, had been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the win over Torquay in late December.

The postponement of the Grecians' League Two clash with Morecambe last weekend has given Gill another week's training and he is pushing for a start against the Dons.

Defender Danny Coles played for an hour in the 2-1 loss to Bristol Rovers as he continued his return to match fitness following a knee operation and he looks likely to start once more.
