Dons hopeful on duo

AFC Wimbledon will check on Mat Mitchel-King and Gary Alexander ahead of the visit of Exeter.

Defender Mitchel-King missed last Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Bristol Rovers after suffering a back injury against Barnet.

Experienced striker Alexander was forced off at the Memorial Stadium with an ankle injury.

Midfielder Peter Sweeney remains sidelined with a broken metatarsal and full-back Jim Fenlon is still out due to a back problem.

Sammy Moore returned against Rovers after missing the Easter programme through illness and should keep his place in midfield.

Wingers Jessie Darco and Kevin Sainte-Luce are pushing for starts if manager Neal Ardley opts to make changes as he attempts to end a run of three straight defeats which has dragged the Dons back into the relegation battle.

Exeter boss Paul Tisdale could shuffle his pack for the trip.

The Grecians have lost their last four games, a run that has seen them slip out of the npower League Two play-off places, and Tisdale is expected to ring the changes in a bid to reverse the club's fortunes.

Striker John O'Flynn, who was dropped to the bench for Tuesday's 4-1 defeat against Rotherham, is in contention to return to the starting XI.

Long-term absentees Matt Oakley, Alan Gow, Myles Anderson and Liam Sercombe are out, while Kevin Amankwaah (ankle) remains doubtful.

Tisdale will check on defender Steve Tully (broken toe) ahead of kick-off and is likely to stick with Aaron Dawson at right-back if Tully is not ready to return.
