Freely set for Dons bow

AFC Wimbledon manager Neil Ardley could hand a debut to loan-signing Kevin Freely when they host Dagenham at Kingsmeadow.

The 21-year-old defender arrived from Charlton on Monday and could join fellow Addicks loanee Michael Smith in the starting XI as the Dons look to make it three Sky Bet League Two wins in four.

Midfielder Harry Pell will be hoping to win his place back after missing Saturday's draw at Bury through suspension while striker Charlie Sheringham could feature more prominently after returning from a long-term ankle injury.

Youngster Charlie Strutton faces a long lay-off after returning from loan club Aldershot with a broken leg and will join Chris Arthur (ankle) on the treatment table.

Dagenham will be without captain Abu Ogogo as they aim to get back to winning ways.

The influential midfielder, who has five goals to his name so far this season, picked up his fifth booking of the campaign in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Plymouth and now serves an automatic one-match suspension.

Ogogo will prove a big miss for the Daggers having started all 22 league and cup matches this term - the club's only player to do so along with defender Brian Saah.

Wayne Burnett's side have lost four of their last five matches, with each of those defeats coming away from home ahead of their trip to Kingsmeadow.
