Ardley to ring the changes

AFC Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley will have to make a host of changes against Bristol Rovers.

Ardley has lost Sammy Moore to suspension after he picked up a 10th booking of the season and fellow midfielder Michael Collins has been recalled from his loan spell by Scunthorpe.

At the back, Darren Jones should be fit after a head injury but skipper Alan Bennett is struggling with a knock and Andy Frampton is also a doubt with a calf problem.

There is better news up front, though, with Jack Midson back from a ban and Danny Hylton fit after a bout of tonsillitis.

Bristol Rovers will assess two regulars ahead of the trip to AFC Wimbledon.

Striker Chris Beardsley's slight muscle problem saw him miss out on Tuesday's 2-1 loss at Bury while Danny Woodards was forced off at the break having taken a bang to the knee and the pair will be monitored by the Pirates' medical staff.

New boss Darrell Clarke set his side up in a new-look 3-5-2 formation and it remains to be seen whether the former Salisbury manager will stick with that set-up and whether Matt Harrold partners Kaid Mohamed, a former Don, up front once more.

That loss at Gigg Lane leaves Rovers six points above the League Two relegation zone but they have received some positive news with long-term injury absentee Fabian Broghammer likely to play for the club's reserves next week.
