Tanner set for Dons debut

AFC Wimbledon can add new signing Craig Tanner to their squad when they host Accrington.

Striker Tanner, 20, has moved to Kingsmeadow on loan from Reading until the end of the season.

Fellow January recruits Alfie Potter and David Connolly are pushing to make their full debuts having come on as substitutes during last weekend's 3-1 defeat by Carlisle.

Defenders Andy Frampton (ankle) and Jack Smith (hamstring) remain sidelined by injury.

Accrington will be forced to make at least one change to their XI unless they can get Sean Maguire back on loan from West Ham in time.

Stanley manager John Coleman is keen on bringing striker Maguire back to the Store First Stadium and is hopeful of pushing that move through before Saturday.

Coleman otherwise has a squad free from injury and suspension for the trip to the Dons.

Full-back Adam Buxton could be included in a matchday squad for the first time under Coleman after making a full recovery from the thigh injury which has kept him out since September.
