Dons inflict more misery on Burton

Record signing Byron Harrison grabbed his first AFC Wimbledon goal to help earn the Dons their first win in three League Two games as managerless Burton collapsed to a heavy 4-0 defeat.

The Brewers sacked Paul Peschisolido last weekend after 14 games without a win and defeat to the Dons extended the run to 16 following a midweek loss to fellow strugglers Northampton.

Luke Moore struck after nine minutes and West Ham loanee George Moncur doubled the lead after the break before Harrison and Sammy Moore scored in injury time to flatter the Dons.

AFC Wimbledon who made the breakthrough when Luke Moore latched onto Moncur's throughball and fired past Ross Atkins from just inside the box.

Greg Pearson forced home goalkeeper Seb Brown into a fine save as Burton pushed for an equaliser but after seeing one shot saved, Moncur grabbed his first Dons goal after 75 minutes.

Harrison, who signed from Stevenage in January, stooped to head in a third with his first league goal for the club and Sammy Moore pinched a fourth at the death.
